About Rossi's Auto Care
Rossi's Auto Care has been a part of landscape in the Coventry/West Warwick area in one form or another since 1975, and at it's current Tiogue Ave. location since 1994.
Back in 1956 when Ken Rossi was in his crib he was undoubtedly wondering how his rattle worked, and more to the point, how he could take it apart to find out. Kenny's lifelong passion for all things mechanical was evident in everything he did and so it was of little surprise to anyone that he started his first repair business right out of high school.
After many successful years at a smaller, two bay location, Kenny was ready to take the business to another level. In order to do that, he needed a larger building and so made the investment in a 6500 square foot building with seven repair bays at 22 Tiogue Ave in 1994. Rossi's has been there ever since.
While Rossi's is and always has been a full service automotive repair shop, Kenny found that he had a special talent for custom exhaust fabrication and Rossi's has earned a reputation for particular excellence in that area, excellence which attracts customers from all over New England.
Kenny further expanded the visibility of Rossi's by sponsoring a drag racing team, building and racing his own cars, winning more than his share of races and winning both the Quick Rod and Super Comp class at New England Dragway in 2012.
In 2011 Kenny's nephew Dennis joined him at Rossi's after many years in the automotive repair business in Florida, including time at Chevrolet, Jaguar and BMW dealerships. Their already close relationship, more father and son than uncle and nephew, was only strengthened as they worked together through the years.
In 2018, Kenny's untimely death was a tragedy that could not have been foreseen. But because Kenny had always taken the time to mentor his staff in the right way to run a shop and had always demanded the highest quality work, business has remained strong despite the unfillable hole left by his sudden passing.
